Pune — Who says dreams have an expiry date? Not 65-year-old Lakshmi Aruna Gorthi, who just earned her Master’s degree in English Literature from IGNOU — proving it’s never too late to follow your passion.
For Lakshmi, this wasn’t just about getting another degree — it was about fulfilling a childhood dream that waited patiently for six decades.
“I always loved English. Life just came in the way,” she says with a smile that hides years of quiet determination.
From Homemaker to Graduate
