Bollywood actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar has unveiled the teaser of his much-awaited war drama, 120 Bahadur, giving audiences a powerful glimpse into one of the Indian Army’s most legendary battles — the 1962 Battle of Rezang La.
Sharing the teaser on Instagram, Farhan wrote:
“Yeh wardi sirf himmat nahin, balidaan bhi maangti hai! Based on the incredible true story is a war forged in snow and sealed with sacrifice. 120 Bahadur, teaser out now. Releasing in cinemas near you on 21st Nov, 2025.”
A Tribute to Bravery and Sacrifice
The film honours the heroic stand of 120 soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment, who defended their post against a massive Chinese army during the Indo-Sino War. Farhan Akhtar steps into the role of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati (PVC), who led the historic battle with unmatched courage.
The teaser captures snow-clad battlefields, relentless gunfire, and unwavering patriotism. Farhan’s commanding screen presence and raw intensity reflect his dedication to the role.
An industry source revealed, “The team shot at 14,000 feet in Ladakh, where temperatures often dipped to minus 10. Farhan underwent military-style training and high-altitude acclimatisation to portray Major Singh with authenticity.”
Behind the Film
Directed by Razneesh Ghai, 120 Bahadur features Raashii Khanna in a pivotal role. The film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar (Excel Entertainment) alongside Amit Chandrra (Trigger Happy Studios).
This project also marks Farhan’s comeback to acting after Toofaan (2021). Known for films like Dil Chahta Hai and Lakshya, Farhan blends emotional depth with cinematic scale in this war epic.
120 Bahadur is slated to release in theatres on November 21, 2025.
