Police in MTG’s district reportedly denied receiving any bomb threat report, prompting Loomer to accuse the Congresswoman of lying.

A political clash erupted within the Republican Party after conservative activist Laura Loomer publicly accused Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) of lying about a pipe bomb threat at her construction company office. The dispute comes amid MTG’s deepening fallout with former President Donald Trump.

In a lengthy post on X, MTG claimed she had received hoax pizza deliveries at her home a harassment tactic known as “pizza doxxing” and alleged a pipe bomb threat had been made against her construction business. She linked the harassment to what she described as Trump’s “unwarranted and vicious attacks,” arguing that his remarks had emboldened “dangerous radicals” and put her and her family in danger.

Greene also referenced past incidents of political harassment, including swatting calls and death threats during her nationwide campaigning for Trump. She said multiple men had been convicted for threats made against her, and insisted those incidents came from the political left.

Her latest claims surfaced shortly after Trump withdrew his endorsement of her following her push for the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files a move only four Republicans supported. A House discussion on the release is expected on Tuesday.

Loomer Calls MTG’s Claims ‘Made Up’

Responding sharply, Laura Loomer a longtime Trump ally who has frequently clashed with MTG accused the Congresswoman of fabricating the bomb threat. Loomer said she contacted police in Rome, Georgia, and was told no report of a bomb threat at MTG’s home or business had been filed that day.

Sharing her findings on X, Loomer wrote that law enforcement officials confirmed they had not received any such complaint and would have been alerted immediately if a credible threat had been made.

Loomer said she recorded her call with the police department but chose not to release the audio, claiming MTG might retaliate against the officer. She then directly accused the Congresswoman of deceit, saying: “You need to stop lying.”

Loomer added that even police in MTG’s own district had denied receiving any report linked to the alleged threat. “You made it up,” she concluded.

Wider Rift in the GOP

The dispute underscores a widening divide between Trump and some Republican lawmakers. MTG is not the only one to fall out of favour; Kentucky Representative Thomas Massie has also drawn criticism from Loomer and others aligned with the former president. Loomer has gone so far as to question personal details surrounding Massie’s first wife’s death.

The escalating tensions highlight growing fractures in the GOP as internal power struggles and loyalty tests continue ahead of future political battles.
