To ensure smooth movement and public safety during Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations, the Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad police departments have announced traffic diversions across key areas of the city on Monday, April 14.
🚦 Key Diversions in Pune
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Amol Zende, has issued a traffic notification affecting the following locations:

Vishrantwadi Chowk (Collectorate Area) and

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Statue at MG Road, Camp
Restricted Areas:

No entry towards the collector’s office from Juna Bazaar Chowk.

🚧 Traffic Changes in Pimpri Chinchwad (PCMC)
From 12 pm onwards, similar diversions will be implemented to manage the flow towards Ambedkar Chowk (Pune-Mumbai Highway):

No entry from Mahavir Chowk via service roads.

Alternate route: D-Mart → Grade Separator → Pimpri

The stretch between Indira Gandhi Bridge to Ambedkar Chowk will be closed for all vehicles.
