On the occasion of Statistics Day 2025, the Government of India launched a new mobile application — ‘GoIStats’ — aimed at making official statistics more accessible, interactive, and user-friendly for citizens, researchers, policymakers, and other stakeholders.
Developed by the National Sample Survey Office (NSO) under the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI), the app brings a wealth of socio-economic data directly to mobile users.
