Indian Railways has announced a special travel offer for passengers heading home during the upcoming festive season. Under its new ‘Round Trip Package’ scheme, passengers booking both onward and return tickets together will get 20% off the base fare of their return journey.
The scheme, aimed at easing ticket booking pressure during peak festive travel for Diwali and Chhath Puja, will also help Railways manage train occupancy in both directions, including special festival trains.

The scheme applies to passengers booking both onward and return tickets for the same set of travelers.
-
Passenger details for the return journey must match exactly with the onward journey.
