Girls Outperform Boys Again
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced the Class 12 (HSC) results for 2025, and while the numbers remain strong, there has been a slight dip in the overall pass rate compared to last year.
🔹 Total Students Appeared: 14,17,969
🔹 Total Passed: 13,02,873
🔹 Overall Pass Percentage: 91.88%
🔹 Pass Rate in 2024: 93.37%
📉 That’s a drop of 1.49% from last year.
Gender Gap Widens in Performance
Once again, girls outshone boys in the exams:

Of 7,258 differently-abled students who appeared, 6,705 passed, resulting in a commendable 92.38% pass rate.
