The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has officially declared the SSC Class 10 Result 2025 today, bringing closure to a significant academic milestone for over 16 lakh students across the state.

Exam Timeline and Context

The Class 10 board exams were conducted between February 21 and March 17, 2025, across 66 subjects in 8 different mediums. This year’s exam cycle began nearly 10 days earlier than the previous years for smoother transitions into the next academic phase.

📊 Overall Pass Percentage Declines Slightly

The overall pass percentage for 2025 stood at 94.10%, marking a slight decline compared to previous years:

  • 2024 – 95.81%

  • 2023 – 93.83%

  • 2022 – 96.94%

  • 2021 – 99.95% (COVID-adjusted year)

  • 2020 – 95.30%

👧👦 Girls Outperform Boys Again

Girls continued their strong performance streak, surpassing boys by a margin of 3.83%:

  • Girls’ Pass Rate: 96.14%

  • Boys’ Pass Rate: 92.31%


🏆 Top Performing Division: Konkan

The Konkan division once again emerged as the highest-performing region in the state with a pass percentage of 98.82%, while Nagpur recorded the lowest at 90.78%.

  • Konkan – 98.82%

  • Mumbai – 67 students scored full marks

  • Nagpur – 90.78% (lowest pass rate)

🥇 211 Students Score a Perfect 100

This year, 211 students scored a perfect 100 marks in one or more subjects. Here’s the district-wise breakdown:

2.46 Lakh Students Receive Grace Marks

In an inclusive move, 2,46,602 students were awarded grace marks for their active participation in extracurricular activities such as:

📆 Supplementary Exams in June

Students who could not clear the exams will be eligible to appear for the supplementary examinations scheduled between June 24 and July 16, 2025. Registrations will begin from May 15.
