As February 2025 rolls in, Netflix is preparing for a content refresh, bidding farewell to several popular movies and TV shows. While it’s always tough to see some fan favorites go, it’s a regular part of Netflix’s content licensing cycle. If you’ve been meaning to rewatch some classics, now is the time before they disappear!

What’s Leaving & When?
📅 February 1:
The month kicks off with the exit of some major hits, including All Eyez on Me, Despicable Me, Dune (2021), Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead, and Straight Outta Compton.
📅 February 11:
The Fast & Furious franchise takes a hit as multiple installments, including The Fast and the Furious, 2 Fast 2 Furious, Tokyo Drift, Fast Five, and Fast & Furious 6, speed off the platform.
📅 February 15-16:
Action and thriller lovers will have to say goodbye to Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Mission: Impossible sequels, the horror prequel Pearl, and all three Johnny English movies.
📅 February 28:
A massive content drop marks the end of the month, with titles like 21 Bridges, A Haunted House (1 & 2), Aloha, The Angry Birds Movie, Blended, Cinderella Man, Due Date, Green Lantern, Inception, Legends of the Fall, Little, all six seasons of The Mindy Project, Oblivion, The Other Guys, Scooby-Doo (1 & 2), Sixteen Candles, Stand by Me, and Without a Paddle leaving Netflix.
Why Does Netflix Remove Content?
Netflix rotates its library due to licensing agreements with studios. When these agreements expire, the platform must either renew them or let the titles go. This makes room for fresh content, including new originals and recently acquired films and series.
While some exits may disappoint fans, Netflix continues to introduce exciting content to keep viewers entertained. So, if any of your favorites are on this list, make sure to watch them before they vanish!
