Pune Metro is already working on expanding its network:

  • PCMC to Nigdi extension is under development.

  • Swargate to Katraj underground stretch is in the tendering stage.

Notably, Pune Metro is also leading the digital transformation in public transport, with 80% of its ticketing revenue now coming from digital transactions—the highest among all Indian metro systems.
