Pune is proving once again that it’s not a city that complains—it acts. This week, the bustling metropolis hit the reset button on road safety with the launch of ‘Zara Dekh Ke Chalo’ (ZDC) Season 3, a campaign that’s turning everyday citizens into traffic heroes.

Armed with sticks, whistles, and a sense of responsibility, Punekars are now stepping into the shoes of traffic cops, guiding vehicles, correcting violators, and spreading awareness. This unique initiative—driven by Pune Times Mirror, Civic Mirror, and the Pune City Traffic Police Department—is bringing a refreshing wave of accountability to Pune’s chaotic roads.
“Complaining about traffic won’t solve the problem,” says the campaign’s message loud and clear. “If you want change, be the change.” And that’s exactly what ZDC offers through its volunteer program, encouraging citizens to become ‘ROAD RULERS’—responsible road users who actively help manage traffic across 30 identified hotspots in the city.
Season 3: New Anthem, New Energy
The grand launch of Season 3 was nothing short of electric. Joint Commissioner of Police (Law & Order) Ranjankumar Sharma, Additional CP (Traffic) Manoj Patil, DCP (Traffic) Himmat Jadhav, and Dr. Pankaj Sharma, CMD of Pune Times Mirror & Civic Mirror, flagged off the campaign, calling it a bold step toward making Pune’s roads safer and more disciplined.
This season also introduces an inspiring anthem song—born out of real-life experiences from Pune’s streets—that blends emotion with urgency. Its catchy tune and heartfelt lyrics are designed to resonate deeply with drivers, riders, and pedestrians alike.
More Than a Campaign—A Movement

With Kolte Patil Developers as the powered partner and Marvel Realtors, Krisala Developers, and Goel Ganga Developments as co-powered supporters, ZDC Season 3 packs more punch than ever. From on-ground drives and interactive sessions to a strong digital presence, it’s not just about spreading awareness—it’s about sparking a cultural shift in traffic discipline.
So Pune, are you ready to swap complaints for action?
Are you ready to whistle, wave, and rule the roads responsibly?
Because the city is calling. It’s time to #ZaraDekhKeChalo.
