The medals mark a strong showing for Indian women shooters, contributing to India’s growing tally at the third World Cup of the season.
Suruchi Singh wins gold in women’s 10m air pistol

Suruchi Singh, just 19 years old, produced a clutch performance in the women’s 10m air pistol final to clinch gold, her third consecutive World Cup gold this season following victories in Buenos Aires and Lima.
Trailing early in the final, Suruchi displayed nerves of steel:

She was second at one stage with a score of 162.3, just 0.4 points behind China’s Qianxun Yao.

A string of accurate shots, including a 10.5 in the decisive round, helped her reclaim the lead.

France’s Camille Jedrzejewski, who briefly moved into first, shot a costly 9.5 in her penultimate attempt, allowing Suruchi to take the top spot.

On the previous day, Sift Kaur Samra, 23, delivered another stellar performance in the women’s 50m rifle 3 positions event, earning bronze after a tense final.
Starting the final in the middle of the pack after the kneeling and prone series, Samra surged in the standing position, stringing together consistent 10s to climb the leaderboard.
She finished with a score of 453.1, just 0.9 points short of the silver.
