To celebrate the 11th International Day of Yoga (IDY), a three-day multimedia exhibition is being held at the South Goa District Headquarters from June 19 to June 21, 2025.
The exhibition is organized by the Central Bureau of Communication (CBC), Goa, under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, in partnership with the District Collectorate of South Goa.

have been organized to spread awareness, especially among the youth.
Main Event: Yoga Sangam at Selaulim Dam
On 21st June, the actual International Day of Yoga, a major event titled “Yoga Sangam” will take place at Selaulim Dam, Sanguem, jointly organized by the District Collectorate and South Goa Police.

Over 200 participants will practice the Common Yoga Protocol at the dam site

It will be part of 1 lakh synchronized yoga demonstrations happening nationwide
National Celebrations
The national-level event of IDY 2025 will be led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, marking a decade of success and global recognition of yoga. The 11th edition of IDY continues to emphasize yoga’s role in enhancing physical, mental, and spiritual well-being across the world.
