A shocking incident has come to light in Bengaluru’s Koramangala area, where a 33-year-old woman was assaulted on the terrace of a private hotel. The crime took place around midnight on February 20.

The woman, who works in catering services, was waiting near Jyothi Nivas College when four men approached her. They spoke to her in a friendly manner, gained her trust, and invited her for dinner at a hotel. But after dinner, they took her to the terrace and assaulted her.

The accused threatened her to stay silent and let her go early in the morning. However, she went home, told her husband about the incident, and reported it to the police.

The police have arrested three men, while the fourth is still being traced. All the accused work in hotels and are from another state. A case has been registered, and investigations are ongoing.

This incident once again raises serious concerns about women’s safety. Authorities have promised strict action, but the bigger question remains—when will women be truly safe in our cities?
